We purchased this for my wife’s commuting. There is no doubt about it Himiway have raised the bar. The bike oozes quality with air front and rear suspension. It even arrived two weeks earlier than quoted. It is easier to put together compared to a cruiser and Zebra. We now have four Himiways. I have a cruiser for commuting and we both have a Zebra for the longer brands. Having bought all four in less than a year shows our confidence in the brand.

A huge thank you to your wonderful customer service department for persevering until I had a working US controller. Having a working throttle to assist setting off when towing a trailer is worth the investment alone. I would advise anyone ordering one to include a photo of your frame number and the label on underside of your controller to ensure you are supplied with the correct model.

Zebra 🦓 is a good looking bike 🏍️ I’ve unloaded this new controller is true it unlocked the throttle but I’ll would like to know how can I turned off the throttle on setting.

This controller US version for Zebra that I received not even work, I can’t even use mine again. Now my old controller is acting the same no pedal assist or no throttle 😡

Himiway Bike Safety Helmet

I've had this ebike now for over 4 months, about 400 miles for town/city riding. I weigh 16 stone and the battery lasts about 45 miles, minimum 40ish it depends how often you brake and how much of your leg strength you put into it, including tyre pressure and how much bag weight you're carrying. The advertised 80 miles must be the utmost best possible scenario; a slim fit person carrying no bags, wearing tight-cycling clothes with tyres fully inflated and on a dry flat road with no braking and with the wind behind you.
Assembly was easier than I expected yet definitely easier with a helping hand! it came with a German manual so I had to download the English version to my phone so I could read what to do.

The brakes were great at first they felt solid and everything but they soon started screeching and light grinding, I took it to a local bike shop who said in their opinion these brakes aren't designed to be used with such heavy bikes, so I'll probably upgrade them later this year or next. I wouldn't dare bother risking removing the 15mph limiter with these brakes.
The USB charging port is quite weak, my action camera Insta360 Ace Pro uses 1.7A of power while recording and after about 3.5 hours its battery died, I've tried multiple USB cable/adapter types, I'm an electrician so I've got an idea how these things work. So the USB port charges at about 1 Amp which is weak nowadays.

Other than that though, I proper love this ebike! The suspension is superb, the gear changes work spot on but I wish there were more higher gears for faster speeds. The legal 15.5mph speed limit is far too slow on the slight uphill long single/dual carriageways especially on 40mph limits during rush hour traffic it's an absolute nightmare being stuck at 15mph as your legs soon run out of energy trying to push that heavy bike + bags.
Peddling on a steep uphill is a challenge on the lowest gear - if only the motor was rated at 750 watts like the US version instead of this UK 250w then that might be better.
Everywhere I go I regularly get people checking it out and some people enquire about it and ebikes in general.

I installed mine easy enough and it works great. Actually my bike is better of for another unexpected reason the brake lights now work as they should. The UK controller did something that stopped the brake lights from working. Himiway customer service has been suburb and since buying they have responded quickly with good outcomes.
I would also recommend getting an upgraded display with password protection for extra security. Then just ride sensibly and look after your bike, keep it clean, service it and don't over strain the electric's and I'm pretty sure you will have a nice reliable bike for many years.

I senor was delivered ok, I’m a bit annoyed that only having the bike for a week I was replacing the sensor myself and having to buy the tool to do it,

I bought this bike to do food deliveries, it’s very good and handles weight and speed very well, however the 80 miles advertised is a bit of a stretch. I’d say it’s good for just a little under that maybe 38 miles with reasonable hills, 45 miles on smooth trails. But very good bike and gets a lot of looks so be sure to get a heavy duty lock

The adjustable bike handle bar stem is extremely well made and robust
My only comment regarding installation is that I had to go to YouTube to find out what the supplied spacer rings are and how to install

Mirrors fitted and work well the bike needs them when on the road

Great bike love the forest Camo. Only downfall the UK version 4.3 on Throttle. 250w Hub motor. UK ebike laws need to be investigated. Great bike though.

Before I bought a Himiway Zebra I did a concentrated research on the internet. What sold me the Himiway Zebra was the You Tubers give the Himiway brand fantastic support and advice.
The ordering and delivery process from Himiway UK was easy and effective.
All company promises honoured.
When I built the bike nearly all my expectations were satisfied.
I was disappointed to discover I had bought an old model 2022 with the old LCD display. This was not advised at the time of purchase.
The power, range and ride for a ebike are superb.
Himiway support works well for me. All my enquiries were answered in twenty four hours.
My rating for Himiway UK product and sevice is 10 out of 10.

Hi Himiway, is there anyway you can set me up with a used bike so I can work deliveroo and ubereats? Have been unemployed since August and looking for jobs but to no avail.
Will purchase the bike from you once I make up its value. Anything to help me get on my feet and have an income again.
